Brenda's Story
For years, I had dreamed of starting a home-based cottage food business. While I originally planned to focus on savory cooking, I found myself returning to where my earliest kitchen memories began, baking.
Side Chick Eats, LLC was born from a love of creating food that brings people together and makes life a little easier. From cookies and cinnamon rolls to breads and new creative recipes, my goal is to share good food and have some fun along the way. I’m incredibly thankful to my taste testers who helped me dial in many of these recipes.
I’m enjoying the challenge of stepping into a new role as a baker, learning photography, video, and presentation, and growing a brand from the very beginning. I’ve even turned my former office into a dedicated bakery so I can stay organized and focused. You can follow along on Facebook and Instagram, and place orders through my online app as it continues to grow.
Recent creations include a McGriddle Butter Swim Biscuit that might make you lick your eyebrows and a banana pudding cookie called The Banana Affair. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to share what’s coming next.
